 Vanilla Beans
I tried vacuum sealing some vanilla beans. When I checked them about 4 months after there was white spots. I did find a place on line that said you could wash them in vodka or Everclear. lay them out until they were dry and store them again. Supposedly, the white spots are not mold.
Anybody here have some first hand recommendations for storage?
