 Re: SPAM and Prep Replenishment
I love spam! I eat it now..hmm need to go and get come more as I'm eating my preps! LOL Since the farmers markets are open getting lots of vegetables to rehydrate...did you know you can get 25 pounds of carrots into a quart jar? Really saves space, and if you have to leave in a hurry you just need water to bring them back to life! BOB..yes!

It's payday, I can replace some of the stuff that got wet when the basement flooded, God is good, we didn't lose much.

 Re: SPAM and Prep Replenishment
I am wondering how long will spam last. I don't mean the date on the can. Whats the oldest spam you have eaten?? Thanks. I also just got 50 cans of Trent tinned ham. Sort of like spam at the flea market for 10 cents a can. it expires in 6mo. I find alot of good deal on food there I just wonder where he gets it????

 Re: SPAM and Prep Replenishment
I don't remember where (which forum) but I saw something the other day where someone opened a 20 year old can of Spam and said it was ok and that he had no ill effects. FWIW

 Re: SPAM and Prep Replenishment
many of the expiration dates can be exceeded by a generous amount. just pay attention to the looks and smells of the contents when you open them.

 Re: SPAM and Prep Replenishment
Seriously, if anyone is throwing away expired cans or dried goods, send it to me! I'll pay shipping! Or keep it, if it's not bulging, rusty or severely dented it's good, the expiration date means pretty much nothing. Either way, I just hate to see good food wasted. Even hormel said spam is good forever.
