Post SOS Prayer Request!
You guys...my brothers and sisters in Christ...you were such POWERFUL prayer warriors for my husband and I when he had his stroke that I am SURE were not for your prayers he would not have recovered as quickly and fully as he did. I humbly come to you again because of your powerful connection to our Lord and the strength of your prayers, to ask you to send up an SOS to our Abba on behalf of a student at my college. Below, is the email I just received from them...

Quote:
Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ,

Our brother and fellow student Bradley Pridemore is about to finish his work towards earning his BA through the Hargrove school. Brad was diagnosed a short while ago with a rare brain tumor (the same type Ted Kennedy had) and is now struggling with chemo. Brad is due to graduate this spring and is praying that he will be able to graduate. Brad has such a deep heart for Christ and has touched the hearts and lives of so many of us on campus. I am coming to you now, as one he has touched in powerful ways and asking that you might join me in praying for Brad and his wife Brenda for both a miracle of healing and that God, in His grace and mercy, might see Brad through to graduation. Let us come to God in faith and hope, trusting that He alone knows what is good and right for each of us. Let us pray as a family in Christ for a brother in need of our prayers and love to the glory of God our Father.

I will start with my own petition:

Holy, merciful Father, we know all things have a purpose even though many times we cannot see or understand Your purpose. As such is the case with Brad. Father, Brad loves You so much and has spent many years studying Your Word and relationshipping with You. I can see why You would have a heart for him and might want him home next to You now, but Lord, if you call him home now, You will miss out on the many stray sheep he could have helped bring back to You, not to mention the mounds of glory those lost sheep would have bestowed upon You. The world will be darker with one less light Father, so in Jesus' name I ask that You let Brad's light shine for a long time in order to bring You thousands of cubits of glory. But Father, if this is not your will because only You know what is right and good for us, I ask mercy in that before You call him home, you let Brad achieve his goal of graduation - all of which the studying was done in Your name, about Your ways, and always for Your glory. I ask this in Jesus' name, over the precious blood he shed for Brad.
