Its Saturday today of course I am heading out to the yard sales

Only couple of more weeks left and the weather will change here and there will be no more yard sales...

This year has been fantastic at the yards sales...it seems that every time I go the lord provides me with exactly what I need for getting ready(even the 10 brand new bra,s I found last weekend for 7.00) bra,s up here this type run 40.00 each...woot did I score...

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

Post Re: Sept 2011
Congrats on the bargains!
I moved 16 lbs of butter (it had been piling up) from the "for immediate use" fridge to the "preps only" freezer in the garage. I also moved several lbs of foil wrapped (cracker barrel, I got it on clearance) cheese to the preps freezer.
We go through 10 lbs of cheese a month, there's no way to store enough, we'll have to severely cut back if TSHTF.
I figure butter and cheese will still be good for quite awhile after the power goes out, so my goal is to fill the freezer with them. The fat calories and protein will help out, since preps don't usually have enough fat and protein.
Gotta get shoes for most of the kids today.
It's so funny, oldest DD won't wear anything I buy her, but she steals my clothes and shoes all the time. So now when I buy her something I say "look what I got for me!" She snatches it up and I only get to see it when she wears it, LOL
If I don't want her to take it, I say "Look what I got for you!" and then she has no interest in it and I can wear it.
