 prayers for my 13 year old daughter bunnylove(updated) She discovered a lump last night..it is the size of a golf ball....I will be taking her to emerg tonight on advice of our health clinic..our family doctor cannot see her until the 27th of sept..
Please pray with me that is maligment and not cancerous

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

My daughter had a lump like that, it was a cyst.
She was about 13 at the time, too. (15 now)

Strangely and coincidentally, this time last year, my daughter who was also 13 (at the time) had a lump the size of a golf ball on her neck. It turned out to be a cyst of some sort. The doctor drained it (a lot of fluid came out) and it hasn't came back since, thank goodness.

she has a blocked membrane and has to start an antibiotic...I have to call the hospital tomorrow morning and book an appointment for tomorrow to see the surgeon..more then likely she will have to have surgery in order to remove the mass and fluid...

Now that the worst of it is over....can I $%^#$ about the Canadian Health Care system forcing you to choose a 3 week wait or head to the emergency room? I thought Canada Health was suppose to lower costs?

Re: prayers for my 13 year old daughter bunnylove(updated) this morning I sent bunnylove to school and followed emergency doctors instruction to call and book an appointment for her today to see the surgeon...
they returned my call at around 9.45am(meanwhile I was suppose to start new job at 10am, but I called lady I work for and she was good about me not going in because she is a dear friend of mine)
so I went to the school and picked bunnylove up and we were again at the hospital,but on the second floor now where the surgeons offices are...and again we waited about 3 hours to see the doctor..when we did get in there,he saw her right away...
poor thing the doctor inserted a needle into the tender area to get some of the fluids to run tests...
we are booked to go back in Friday morning at 8.30am this way they can see her right away and she can go to school...and on Friday they will decide if surgery will be necessary...
they will have to make an insision and remove the blockage and fluids to see if that helps..
funny thing is the doctor was so perplexed as to how this could have happened to her
