Post Study Finds Swine Flu Not Worse Than Seasonal Strain
So here it is don't let them bully you into a swine flu shot that you don't need.. :mrgreen:


Of these cases, there were about 274,000 hospitalizations and 12,470 deaths associated with the virus. Children, young adults, pregnant women and people with existing chronic medical conditions were most at risk of hospitalization with any pandemic flu, and the H1N1 was no different.

Belongia and his colleagues said children seemed to be disproportionately affected by H1N1 infection, but the severity of symptoms such as pneumonia or hospital admissions were not increased compared with seasonal flu strains.

A report on the study is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association

Swine Flu Found No More Severe Than Seasonal Virus

Children infected in last year’s swine flu pandemic were no more likely to be hospitalized with complications or get pneumonia than those who catch seasonal strains, according to a study that challenges previous reports.
