need to stock up more over the counter i guess. never use em though so i never think about it

interesting test.. i find a lot of it doesnt apply to us.. certainly not sure how a cell phone is a sign of preparedness.. lol

oh i get it in a city situation i guess, but in the event of any kind of outage that effects the tower grid they become useless. as i recall cell phones after 9/11 and katrina made awesome paper weights..

there is more that i didnt see the point in it being a judge of how prepared we were on the list,but i pretty much stopped the test at the cell phone question..

how prepared are we? adequately for our situation..

just something to pass the time and might jog a few brain cells into seeing gaps in their preps

I had this bookmarked (couldn't follow the link from work, which is where I log on 90% of the time) and just got around to taking it. I only got a 26, the financial section killed me because I'm just coming out of college but that situation should be taken care of soon. I also don't have a lot of food and water stored because my plan is that if a situation will keep me from getting to my job for more than 10 days, I'm bugging out. My parents have the capability to be 100% off the grid at the farm and it is a damn near self sustaining farm. So I'm not to worried about my 26.

there are few gaps in preps that can easily be filled, as soon as I funds I can start working on them....but over all I feel good about what I have..I am at least 38 steps ahead of everyone else

Yeh, but 38 in imperial units converts to 79.54 in U.S. units...
Actually, Boss, I scored only a 24 when answering the questions strictly as written. I thought that many of the questions assumed that there was only one solution for a need, and I had prepared in a different way entirely, or found another solution. No matter what the score, if I was as prepared as you and your family, which I probably am NOT, i would be fairly satisfied with my preps SO FAR. (There is always something more that can be done.) And even NOT being as prepped in ome areas as you, I am STILL fairly happy with what I have been able to do so far. There is always more to do, but on the other hand, we have tested our preps many times and improved them after each test. By testing them I mean both practice runs AND everyday use of the food and gear we have stockpiled. We don't store what we don't like and use everyday.
