 revolution or evolution???
why is every one feeling some evil disaster, plague or holocaust??
why do we all keep arguing and debating about what world we will leave for our children?
do you think they are learning anything from us fighting ourselves day to day?
I'm talking the whole world in general, we fouled up somewhere. so why don't we find a resolve even between ourselves for just a while a short 5 years to use technology in a new way. let's all build sustainable green homes to live in, while doing this teach those without a home how to build there own and help in the construction. lets use our knowledge to grow green houses full of fruit from around the world to every towns local farm in each country around the world. lets get the world OFF-THE-GRID and see what happens. i see so many people want this so lets just do it already, lets work together! imagine this for my little scenario. most people have computers so we could get a programmer to write a program that organizes our text. in each new town has a computer center everyone once a day or so could write in a problem you are having in the town. then you could also look at the organized list of all the problems and we could work on what we see is a problem. also i think if we can clone cows, pigs, chicken if they are okay to eat then why not? if we could clone for the purpose of our own food we could use this as a way to bring the worlds natural species back to balance. i don't know anything about cloning a cow, just wanted to point it out as a quick relief to the balance of the planet. think about it with this many people we could easily have enough people to create and operate all the systems around the world feeding us and the earth itself back to health. i think we should try to put people into 2 or 3 different jobs but at different days and times. also with shorter shifts many people could contribute and find a way to schedule all of this again COMPUTERS. with that many different jobs you can teach your kids about those three jobs and maybe one they would like maybe none the main part is so everyone has a defined place in all of our survival one more link in the chain. trying to entice your kids to follow in your footsteps would be a good way for us all to perfect our skills and teach our young to do the same younger then us and bring our knowledge and technique higher. with computers we could link to all the other city's about the new found knowledge and they could have some people come to learn the new technique or demonstration of new found technologies. lets not let the next generations see war, bloodshed, poverty, starvation, corruption, genocide, lets just STOP and THINK about the future before we just f*** it up like the history we have already written for ourselves on these forums. lets stop preparing right now and gather, let get together and think about a solution to what it is we really want/need in this world. lets stop worrying about it and start getting together and present our true numbers. so what do you people think I'm not saying this is how it must exactly we will figure it out if we open our minds. what do you all say to a compromise between free human beings and those who still want the systems they live in and say we are taking a small area (this big by this big) per people agreement with local governments in peaceful way lets ask the actually people from the area if they mind us using said land and start doing this. lets do it peacefully but lets be heard i read a tag from "johnny" it says
"Two thousand years ago, a Roman Senator suggested that all slaves wear white armbands to better identify them. NO," said a wiser Senator, "If they see how many of them there are, they may revolt."
i think we should were them everyday and wait to see how many more research about it find out why we are doing it join in. numbers build, soon whose left no one. there's no revolution to it everyone it's evolution that will occur.
let's evolve into a better being.

 Re: revolution or evolution???
I have a few questions, Sir. >How is a person like ME- unemployed- to build a new house, Green or otherwise ? >Ditto my new vegetable greenhouse. >When will you be over to build the house, greenhouse, and plant the fruit trees and vegetables ? (I don't get up too early.) >Ditto supplying the solar panels or wind turbine and installing them. >My landlord (and city zoning gestapo) might not dig my new cloned cows, pigs, and chickens >About my 2 or 3 new jobs- do I get paid for them, or is it slave labor ? >And who assigns the cushy jobs and who gets THEM ? Let me guess- YOU ? >Sorry (not really) I am a FREE human being and WON'T compromise about that >Are YOU donating all this land, or taking it by force from someone ? What if they object ? >What if I don't want to participate ? Thanks in advance for answering these questions. ;-] Sorry if I sound like I'm picking on you, but this proposal- was it written by a congressional committee ? And voted on without reading it ? Oh, wait ! That was the troubled a$$holes relief program, the Wall St. bailout, and healthcare reform.
BTW, welcome. New members and ideas are welcome- even if not what I expected. ;-]

@freedom2010
I edited your post to eliminate some offensive wording. Please remember that this is a FAMILY friendly endeavor. We do have several young people as members and many that read the board along with their parents. I will ask you to be careful of your language in future posts.
That said. Welcome to the board.
Stop preparing? I think not!

 Re: revolution or evolution???
First let me say welcome to the forum
"why is every one feeling some evil disaster, plague or holocaust??
why do we all keep arguing and debating about what world we will leave for our children?
do you think they are learning anything from us fighting ourselves day to day?
I'm talking the whole world in general, we fouled up somewhere. so why don't we find a resolve even between ourselves for just a while a short 5 years to use technology in a new way. let's all build sustainable green homes to live in, while doing this teach those without a home how to build there own and help in the construction. lets use our knowledge to grow green houses full of fruit from around the world to every towns local farm in each country around the world. lets get the world OFF-THE-GRID and see what happens. i see so many people want this so lets just do it already, lets work together!"
Going green......If you have info on this that points out ways to accomplish that goal on a reasonable budget please do share with us all. I believe that many have given up trying to go towards getting off-grid only because of the high cost of alternative energy.
Stop preparing.....Not a chance that will ever happen

 Re: revolution or evolution???
>How is a person like ME- unemployed- to build a new house, Green or otherwise ?
we teach each other how the to create housing, no $$$ needed i would love to be able to help build homes for other beings other than myself.
>Ditto my new vegetable greenhouse. >When will you be over to build the house, greenhouse, and plant the fruit trees and vegetables ? (I don't get up too early.) i am free anytime anyone is in need of somewhere to go, if i have food i offer, if you need a place to rest your head i have extra blankets.
>Ditto supplying the solar panels or wind turbine and installing them. we could teach each other what is required to build these pieces of equipment and be able to repair on our own.
>My landlord (and city zoning gestapo) might not dig my new cloned cows, pigs, and chickens it was only a suggestion to the problem of starvation there are other ways.
>About my 2 or 3 new jobs- do I get paid for them, or is it slave labor ? it wouldn't be like slave labor you would be free to leave and try whatever you wanted but work should be required for everyone, are you suggesting you would want your freedom but not take part in helping humanity earn it?
>And who assigns the cushy jobs and who gets THEM ? Let me guess- YOU ? no YOU assign yourself to what ever interests you. sit and think about what really matters food, shelter, medicine, new technologies many things which you could do to better your life and those around you by OUR labor.
>Sorry (not really) I am a FREE human being and WON'T compromise about that im not saying this is the way it must be I'm saying lets all talk this out we have issues and instead of hearing your frustrations with your current way of life being unemployed why don't we build you a new home green house and teach you to teach others like you the same. then you have employment a job you have a home you know fully how to manage and repair and you have your life now free to help others instead of fearing the absence of money, do i have enough to pay the bills, can i feed my children. we have what the earth provides with or without money materials stay the same. >Are YOU donating all this land, or taking it by force from someone ? What if they object ? how can they object. life is a privilege not a right. if there is so many people calling for change why not let us try. we can sit and compromise and talk and deal with issues until we get land split so people can still live in either system.
>What if I don't want to participate ? you don't have to take part that's the whole point your freedom means something, you can choose to be part of the society of today's world. but for the people who feel like they want to live like human beings we can have that choice too.

 Re: revolution or evolution???
ok, I thought at first that this idea of compromising to find a new way to live would be interesting. However, this sounds very like some liberal fairy tale. Honestly, what makes humans so interesting is that they are all different, with different dreams, talents and goals. Go GREEN? We have definitely done some harm to the earth, but to do as you suggest is forced compliance with someone elses goals, not mine. There is enough regulation as it is. Cloned animals? I think not. Moother nature does fine work and there is no need for science to clone an animal or our food. Do you support Monsanto? Our food should be as natural as possible, not created in a lab! Again, mother nature knows best...not the government. 2 or 3 jobs? Why? Who would pick them? I have to ask...why would you want to create an unnatural life? Why would you want to pick peoples work for them? That is a communist way of thinking.
you can be green and support it, encourage manufacturing in our own country for green technologies. you can help and support more efficient enrergy projects and products, but don't force them on people. Price them right and they will naturally buy them. make them simple to use and they will use them. take regulation out of the picture and you will have happy people using green technology.

 Re: revolution or evolution???
you would pick what you want to do for work to help the other people as a whole global community. the only unnatural life i see is the one we are living in. if you didn't read my post i said you pick your labor. you give and you receive. its not communist it's a world where you have a purpose you have a goal you go and do that you see a problem you tell the others, brainstorm and fix it. if working together is communism then i want a commu-nity just like that

 Re: revolution or evolution???
An interesting fantasy. idiotic but interesting. It might work for small commune-ities but not for anything larger. I know I'm far to independent minded to wait for a bunch of people to argue each viewpoint. By the time they reach a consensus my project is done.
And as far as green goes I own a pretty much self sustaining, off grid ranch on which I raise and preserve 90% of my own food.
I don't need a committee telling me to what to do either....
