Post Oversized clothes as a famine disguise
I was talking to another squirrel, and the idea was brought up that a person could buy oversized clothes at goodwill, salvation army, or any discount store.

As your neighbors started going hungry, you could ration your food (and still eat well) while at the same time wearing something a size or too bigger to give the appearance of wasting away and looking a little shabby - to blend in like everyone else.

Anyone else consider this?

After reading the price of clothing is going to go up again..this year I will be bringing in any clothes I can get..

I also will be sewing a lot of clothes

but getting bigger is a great idea..especially when you still have growing kids and for SHTF

with clothes you can easily adjust them to make them smaller, but is is a lot harder to make them larger...especially blue jeans...( have rope at the ready for making belts)

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

I was just reading an online survival book (overthrown) and the main character had to do just that to avoid suspicion and for safety from those who would turn her in for a reward, usually a part of the goods seized from the "hoarder"
