Yesterday our power just within our city block area was off from 7.30am till 2pm, I had to work at noon, but before I went in to work and since there was no power at my house. daughter and I did some shopping..

for preps we brought in

22lbs of rice

4 small bags corn meal(on sale 2/1.00)

and 2 small bags of barley(on sale for .79 cents)

6 cans of chicken noddle soup

I am heading back out again this morning before all HE double toothpicks breaks lose around the world and our dollar buying powers ends up being nothing

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

I have been dehydrating hot peppers all weekend. Every 12 hours 2 more half gallon jars filled & dehydrater refilled with ground up hot peppers.

Got the pepper plants for free back in June when greenhouse closed for the year.
Half gallon glass canning jars were free from garage sale when sale was over & they had not sold.
Son didnt think they were hot , he took a pinch of dried out of jar & ate it .LOL He said they about burnt his lips off.
