Post Nutritional info for foods
I have recently been put on a sodium-restricted diet of less than 2300 milligrams of sodium per day. So I am researching sodium content of various foods. I will post the info I find here from time to time, to help anyone with a similar diet.
Note- these charts show such things as calories, fat, sodium, cholesterol, carbs, sugar and other useful info.
Here is the info on
Arby's: http://www.arbys.com/nutrition/Arbys_Nu ... ebsite.pdf
Burger King: http://redesign.bk.com/cms/en/us/cms_ou ... mation.pdf
Hardee's http://www.hardees.com/content/download ... .20.10.pdf
Kentucky Fried Chicken: http://www.kfc.com/nutrition/pdf/kfc_nutrition.pdf
McDonald's http://nutrition.mcdonalds.com/nutritio ... nfacts.pdf
Pizza Hut http://www.pizzahut.com/Files/PDF/PH&WS ... .13.10.pdf
Subway http://subway.com/subwayroot/MenuNutrit ... Values.pdf
Taco Bell http://www.tacobell.com/nutrition/information
Jack In The Box http://www.jackinthebox.com/pdf/Nutriti ... e_2010.pdf
It looks like I will have to be VERY selective when dining out...today I had Taco Bell regular crunchy Tacos...330 mg (x 3) for me = 990, leaving me 1310 mg for the rest of the day.
I will also be posting some info I got from food labels at the grocery store soon.

War, I went to Burger King with DH yesterday while we waited for his glasses to be made, they post the caloric intake of each item on their board, stops you from ordering things.

Rubies- look at the "Veggie Burger", which I happen to like, 1070 mg sodium
compared to a Whopper, which I also happen to like............1020 mg sodium
or a triple Whopper w/o mayo..........................................1030 mg sodium
or a Whopper w/o mayo...................................................880 mg sodium
or a Tendercrisp chicken Garden Salad..............................1060 mg sodium
or a Tendergrill chicken Garden Salad..................................930 mg sodium

On the back of their 'placemats', they have the entire nutritional chart printed. You can take these home from Arby's, Burger King, Hardee's, McDonald's, and Taco Bell.
None for Subway or Wendy's, though.

Very useful, though it also makes me even happier that I cook as much as I can from basic ingredients.
