I won't have to buy canning lids for the next 3 years, at least, way cool.

I also found a mess of coupons at the grocery store, even coffee ones. need to go back for more, only grabbed 6 of each.

Clearance Halloween candy!
23 bags. I have my priorities.
Think gold will be valuable when TSHTF? It will be nothing compared to chocolate.
I say chocolate is the new PM.

Chocolate Candy, yummy, sale here are only down to 50% off and not much to chose from.

I stopped at at 2 different Hannaford:
47 packs of 4 roll Marcal Small Steps Toilet Tissue 19¢ each plus tax
7 boxes of Ball Quart Canning Jars marked down to $3.00 each

Yes I cleared the shelf off of TP and did buy all the cases of canning jars that they had.

Needed to come home and rest. Had to push trunk lid down, filled it so much and start using back seat.

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

Our local Kroger-owned store has been having an awesome round of heir "Mega-10" events. Buy 10 participating items, get $5 off your total. I've been stocking up on things like mac n cheese & fruit for 49¢ a can/box, pasta, olives, toothbrushes, ricola cough drops etc. Also been rearranging, organizing & further packing & rotating stuff.

I bought lots of ground beef to can, last week I ordered a pressure canner and it came, I'm still a little afraid to use it! I have to soon, though, or the ground beef will need to be frozen!
We bought our middle daughter her own 22 rifle. She's a good shot! We got the little kids each a Daisy Red Ryder for Christmas.
I made up a recipe that might make a good prep dish! Target had black spaghetti pasta and I wondered how they made it black so I checked the ingredients, it said squid ink. I knew we had to try that!
I made it with alfredo sauce and added tuna, and it was great! That would work with plain spaghetti, too.
It looked ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! The kids liked that aspect of it, and they loved the taste.

I found mac and cheese for 33 cents a box and cake mixes, good ones, for $1. Still having trouble finding sugar for less than 56 cents a pound though. I have coffee coupons and have found some sales, but by the time I get there they are out and I have to take rain checks...rain check do not fill my pantry!
