 My First Bread
My daughter and I got around to making whole wheat bread for the first time yesterday. It was pretty decent. Kind of heavy but missing something. I think it needed a bit more sweetener (used honey) Here's a pic

 Re: My First Bread
I couldn't wait for it to cool very much
Big slice of crust with butter melted in
And another piece with melted butter and home made peach jam

 Re: My First Bread
It was fun. If I had all the bread my mom baked in one place, it may fill my house.
But never paid much (enough) attention
One of many things I wish I learned was how she made her buns.
If going anywhere, Velma was always asked to bring buns

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.
