Post Ladies Bible Study 9
For the first part of the study we will be doing Women of the Bible

Opening Prayer;

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you now and before Your Throne of Grace not in our own strength or worth, but by and through the Blood of Jesus. Forgive us our sin Father so that You may hear our prayer.

Father we would ask that you bless the reading of Your Word here and that hearts would be inspired and blessed. We ask that you would prepare us for what is coming via our study and fellowship here.

We thank You Father that where two or more of us are gathered or in agreement You are there also. May this forum be blessed with Your Love and Patience and may Your Holy Spirit Minister here.

Bless us now with Your Wisdom and Discernment and with whatever spiritual gifts that would glorify You.

This we Pray in Jesus’ Most Precious Name

Amen
Amen

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

God's Love

Luke 15:11-32
Questions
1. What do you think prompted the younger son to ask for his portion of his fathers wealth?
- Proverbs 3:5-7. Could we make a similar mistake?

2. What do you think tormented the son most - the fact that he had spent all his money or the famine ?
Verse 14

3. From being a rich man's son to feeding swine - sounds like falling from grace to grass. Any lessons for us here?

4. What made him return to his father - his love for his father or hunger pains?

5. Was he expecting much from his father on returning?

6. Why do you think his father spotted him from a far off? Does this tell us anything about our heavenly father?

7. What does it mean to repent?
- Verse 21

8. Why do you think there was rejoicing?
- Matthew 18:13-14

9. The elder brother was not amused with the rejoicing? Do you think he had been having parties?

10. How can we be Christians but still deny ourselves of our heavenly fathers riches? What are the dangers of this?
