 kelee,s new wall(completed with pics)
I know I know I have been awol..but in order to get prepped, I have to go do the shopping and prep all of this stuff also and we know how long it can take..to date sort, freeze and store...but this weeks project is only half complete..so bear with me..here are some pics and escription My 14 year old son and my 13 year old daughter share the finished basement..we had curtains up between them but that does not give to much privacy...I was going to get someone in to build a wall but they wanted 150-200 to build it plus the supplies which would have cost me another 200.00...and I would have had to have an electrician come and move an outlet...so instead here is what I have been doing(in my spare time of course) This is 14 year old sons side of the finished basement.. This is 13 year old daughters side of the finished basement This is the wall I am building using bookcases...yippee double wides to hold lots of preps...and as you can see I am storing a lot in them...they will be covered with back splash or panel when I am done filling...you can also see my second kitchen in the back ground..so a side wall and door are needed for daughters room also(another wall project for me)..I have bracketed the bookcases to a wall and will also do that for the ceiling..and I use small brackets to hold them together...I still need to get 2 more bookcases to finish this project

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

What a good idea! That's cool.

 Re: kelee,s new wall
Had one large bedroom for my two younger brothers and me at one time. I used a long dresser and book cases to divide my small section off. Worked fine for years.
Good work kelee.

Re: kelee,s new wall(completed with pics)
so I finally got both of the walls done and some of the preps put in them..still have to fill the and then cover...but here is what I so far this is the first wall i worked on that separates the 2 kids rooms.. then I put one between daughters room and the kitchenette down stairs and this is how daughter will view from her room .I am going to be putting up a blue curtain to the back of it and she has a shower curtain with dolphins she will hang there also..I still have to fill space between the tops of the shelves and the ceiling, but preps will probably end up there(teehee).. the shelves facing the kitchen will be for the stuff I have to away..but at least will have a home till I can get it done...

Re: kelee,s new wall(completed with pics)
yes one of the shelves along her wall is backwards then the other 2 and that is because daughter had alot of stuff in her room and needs shelf space also..so we put 2 facing towards the kitchen and one towards her room...
