 Jerry D Young Website
For those that might be interested in my other works besides the free Prep/PAW fiction I post here, I have a new site that links to my two published works, "Mr. Man" and "Shipwrecked!" plus two pay-to-download novels, "EXPEDITION" and "The Contract" http://www.jerrydyoung.comA forum to discuss these works will be up soon.

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

 Re: Jerry D Young Website
Jerry Would you give us a little more info than the title of Expedition? Like a little of what it's about, how many pages etc. 25.00 is a lot for a pdf based on a title only. I love your stories, but would like a little more info thanks Jo aka ChemicalGal

 Re: Jerry D Young Website
Yeah. I'm working on how to put more information with the title. I'm not very good on the site and my IT guy is out of town.
Basically EXPEDITION is a story about a group of people that train to go on an expedition to Brazil, get there, and then come home, with a lot of adventures during the process. The tagline I put on it is "Rip-roaring action from the boardroom to the Amazon Jungle and back."
1.1 million words in 2955 pages at 16pt type to make it easy to read. ~13mb download.
With paypal difficult to work into a site I have it set up to accept a payment and then PM the link to the story. If that isn't okay, (I don't really like the idea myself, but I don't know how to make paypal work with an instant download without getting some really expensive software.) let me know and I'll PM the link and you can take a look before you do the payment.
I'll keep working on getting a description up front. Thanks for the feedback. I really need some guidence on website development.

 Re: Jerry D Young Website
I have a paypal link okay (I think), but they said there was no way to automatically download the story after the payment. They recommended one of their third party affiliates to do it for several thousand dollars. The biggest problem was there was no description of the stories on the front page, just the title. I got that fixed. People can see a short blurb about the stories, the size, and the cost without having to go to the intermediate step where it is buy or use the back button to get out.
Paypal was the only system we could even get to do that immediate payment. Despite the risk of getting ripped off, anyone that wants the story before they pay, I'll send them the link and then let them pay.
Thanks for your help.

 Re: Jerry D Young Website
Hi Jerry Thanks for the info. I ordered your shipwrecked & the man one. I am reading shipwrecked at this time. It all seems familiar, have you had this on line somewhere? It's a good read, and well worth what I paid for it.
I got the ebook ones because I can't read books like I used to. Love the e books. I can make the words as big as I need so I can read them.
When I finish these two, I'll get your other 2 thanks Jo aka ChemicalGal

 Re: Jerry D Young Website
No, it's never been on-line, but there were some similarities to Lost when it came out. I published Shipwreck! in 2003, long before Lost premiered. It was spooky the first three episodes, then Lost began to get wild and I reliazed there were no real parallels between the two.
Thank you for your purchases. Hope you enjoy them.
