 I need a list of survival books to read plzWhen I head off to the used stores and I would like to take a list of good survival books to look for..in our town I can get books sometimes for 2 dollars for a plastic handle bag..things is some of these places have hundreds of books...
Please start a list in here so I can print it out to take with me Even take list to yard sales...  _________________ In loving memory of my son Chris April 12 1985-June 19 2007 I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner. |

2) The Encyclopedia of Country Living by Carla Emery 3) Roughing it Easy by Dian Thomas 4) Nuclear War Survival Skills by Kearny (I can't remember the name for sure and can't put my hands on the book at the moment.) |

This is a bit of thread drift, but did you see "The Book of Eli"? Great movie, although a bit graphic at times. I told my kids half-way through the movie that it was showing how important memorizing Scripture was. And then we saw the end....

Re: I need a list of survival books to read plz Crisis Preparedness Handbook: A Comprehensive Guide to Home Storage and Physical Survival by Jack A. Spigarelli is a decent one. I'd also recommend the Where There Is No Doctor/Dentist if you can find them.

Re: I need a list of survival books to read plz Five acres and independence by MG Kains is excellent. A bit dated, written in 1935 if I IIRC but full of good info.

I have several Bibles..those are always priority( I always have one on my computer desk) buried under the pile of paperwork somewhere.. Re: I need a list of survival books to read plz I have a full set of the Foxfire series. While they make interesting reading, and were undoubtedly a great learning tool for the students in appalachia to make, they lack detail.

and paul provencher from les edition de lhome the one from mr provencher are about is life as a forester in the early1900 in norther que the title of is books are not known to me in english but are fairlee easy to find best regards griz |
