I have the canned cheese. Only thing is it does not melt that great for grilled cheese sandwiches. As far as flavor we love it.

OK got the shipment just a bit ago.....36 8 oz cans of processed cheese.....it kinda reminds me of velveta 'cept it tastes better and has a better consistancy.

I will order more, but next month I will get their canned meat variety packs.

Is this like the cheese you can get in the #10 cans at Sams for about $6 a can? It sounds like it's the same thing when I read the product description on that website. Other than smaller cans being appropriate for times when you lack refrigeration or a good cold room, is there a benefit to purchasing from this company that I can't get from my #10 Sams club cans? We are set up so that we could keep food without refrigeration for all but the hottest couple months of the summer, and even then we can keep things cool-ish.

If this is the same as the stuff I've been buying, mix together a can of Rotel, some sliced olives, and a cup or so of the cheese and microwave it. I'll be right over with a bag of tortilla chips. :)

I don't know if it is the same stuff as we do not have Sam's Clubs in Canada. That would be good for you guys if you could get it much cheaper.

I guess this is as good a place as any to post a link to a very comprehensive food source...

Interesting this lists an address in Chapel Hill, NC. I'd never have guessed something like this existed there.

No, it's not the same thing, it's completely different. The stuff you get at Sam's is more of a cheese or nacho sauce, and the cheese John is talking about is solid cheese that can be sliced and grated.

We were talking about it chat one night, NancyT and that is what John told me. I'm going to try some out once I get a little play money that I don't have allocated to other projects. Good luck convincing my husband that we should stock cheese though. He's lactose intolerant and doesn't see the need. The other cheese we have has already come out of my play money, and hopefully it will be enough to give me my "cheese fix" if I can't get the "good stuff" in time.
