Get your drinks cold in one minute
My kids do this dozens of times a day, it really works and saves fridge space (don't have to keep tons of colas in there!) Get a bowl, large enough to comfortably hold a drink can and water and ice. We use a metal bowl which works well. Fill it with ice, water, and a little salt. Put your drink in and spin it with your finger for at least a minute. The drink will be as cold as if it had been in the fridge for 4 hours. We keep the bowl in the freezer until it starts to freeze too solid, then we keep it in the fridge, until it starts to melt too much. The kids use it so often it's easy to keep track of how frozen/melted it is.

Re: Get your drinks cold in one minute
At our homestead we do something very similar. We freeze water into little cubes, then put one or two of the cubes into our drinks, swirl/stir, and the drink will be as cold as if it had been in the fridge for 4 hours. ;-)

LOL I hate melted ice in my drinks. I like them cold from the can. Less cups to wash that way, too.
