I summarized the text from the slideshow (see link above).

7 Pantry staples that can be used as beauty aids.

1) White Sugar is a great exfoliator. Keep a jar in your shower. Take a handful and masage over your body using a washcloth and rinse off.
2) Olive Oil to have skin like velvet. Keep a plastic bottle in your bathroom. Add a few drops of your favorite fragrance. After exfoliating your skin, pat your skin until it's almost dry, then message a small amount of oil all over your body. If your hair is dry, add a few drops into your palm and bend over and scrunch into the ends of your hair.
3) Honey and a little white sugar to exfoliate your face.
4) Lemon Juice will reduce yellowing on your nails and when mixed with baking soda and used as a toothpaste will whiten your teeth.
5) Vegetable Shortening is an effective treatment for eczema. Apply the shortening to the infected area and leave for 14 - 20 minutes. Rinse and apply a little olive oil.
6) Yogurt can be used to treat rosacea. It can soften the skin and calm the redness. Apply as a mask for 15 minutes. Rinse and apply a light layer of olive oil.
7) Parsley and Mint for bad breath. Brush your tongue when your brush your teeth, drink lots of water, and chew on mint sprigs.
