 Farmaggedon(Indoor growing)with pics(updated)
here are the pics of the step by step that I have so far on growing indoors.. First I painted my room, so removed everything from walls( and just because it needed it,not that you have to ) then I hung some hooks and have to make some more sturdier boards to hold plants this is what i started with and now today July 18th 2011...and all of these are to grow indoors for as long as I can through the winter under grows lights..right now they are lined up near the patio window taking advantage of the summer sun This picture is of the non-hybrid babies that are just sprouting and I planted some hybrid carrots/lettuce and radishes today you can see how my computer is getting a bit boxed in ,but I will move it come the cooler wheather as the plants grow and need more room... i will update this thread as they grow and as I plant more...

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

July 25/2011 updating with notes and pics So the shelves have become a place to hold spare supplies and spearmint, peppermint and sage had to be moved to the front windows to make more space in back room for growing plants these are the hybrid tomatoes I bought and planted into the soil bags the hybrid lettuce and radishes that I bought on sale for 23 cents a pack tobacco was transplanted yesterday; note how small they are, I had to use a baby sppon to get them into bigger pots and this is an over all picture of all of them..they need to be put back in their spots I did alot of transplanting yesterday, all the tomatoes got put in to bigger pots and later will be transplanted into soil bags( will update that as I go along)

July 28/2011 I used a bed frame for the box size and I will have to install something around this to keep cats outs...also the frame helps to keep the tarp up for the water run off from the bags I used 2 empty totes to raise the back part and a door I took off a closet in my basement Notice how Farmageddon is taking over my poor computer desk

Question: what do you have as backup plan if there is no electric for grow lights. I would suggest maybe mirrors to redirect light from windows to the corners that wouldn't get enough light. Space at the window is going to be at a premium. The Egyptians used mirrors to redirect sun light so it should work in a room. Just thinking....as I am also looking at indoor growing.

 Re: Farmaggedon(Indoor growing)with pics(updated)
Check out the sales in your area for pre-grown heritage plants I was able to pick up tons of herbs, strawberries and rasberry plants for under 20 dollars... so here is a picture of all the herbs we got transplanted the other day we have peppermint, spearmint, oregano, basil and thyme These ones are bunnyloves,we still need to transplant them rasberry plants I got for 2 dollars each, they also need to be transplanted and this is a picture of Farmaggedon which is out on my patio right now..soaking up the sun while it can...I have to move my computer desk to the other side of the room this weekend to make room for all of it now that they are growing bigger....patio is just off of the room I am going to be growing them indoors in the winter
