Post Dew Worms
So kids and I were draining the pool and when we let the water out it flooded parts of the back yard and it was flowing dew worms, we must have about 100 right now and can get more cause there is more water to drain out...

I have a couple of 5 gallon and 10 gallon aquaruims, has anyone ever farm raised dew worms and if so what did you feed them and what type of container did you keep them in...

I am thinking this would save alot of money on having to buy worms...

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

I googled and got a few answers..and woohoo we can fed them rabbit poop and crushed eggshells, just have to work on bedding and a placee for them to live..

I was thinking I have tolarge totes that have holes in the bottom and I was placing lids underneath to catch water.I had used these to grow my potaotes on the patio in the apt...

They love dry chopped leaves mixed with coffee grounds, they must be kept cool, so many growers
shelter their worm containers buried in cool soil, and they cannot be kept wet, but must be kept
moist.

You could literally start a home based business and pay all your expenses by feeding worms your kitchen and yard waste to the Favored Worms for fishing in your area.

All information is available either on the web or the USDA.gov website.
Good Luck

compost piles make great worm beds if you don't want to sell the castings. you can often get more for the castings then you can for the worms themselves though.
