 dehydrated some spuds todaY
last week i slaughterd some potatoes that I tried to dehydrate.very horrible tasting and looking....chickens ate them.. not fit 4 humans
try agin today and even have squash in the dehy
did 5 dz eggs last week and they seem fine.

Try dipping potatos on Fruit fresh solution, or in a pinch, lemon juice in water to stop them turning dark. 1 TBSP per quart seems the number I have used with fruit. More is better than less. Slice 1/8 inch thick Run dehydrator as hot as possible

the spuds this time seem decent enuf..\i didnt slice, but boiled last nite and left in fridge and then this morning shredded them..works fine.looks fine..also made bread with hot peppers and squash in it.havent bot a loaf of bread in many months
