Mix together in large bowl:
2 boxes or bags of bugle chips
1 cup of slivered almonds
Bring the following to a boil:
1 cup sugar
2 tbs. karo syrup
2 cubes margarine
1/4 cup water
Boil sugar, karo, margarine, and water to firm ball stage. Pour over bugles and almonds slowly and mix well. Dump out on wax paper until dry.

These are so good their addicting! I make these at Christmas and add them to my cookie gift plates or sometimes I just put these in little Christmas bags as gifts by themselves.
