Post Re: AUGUST 2010
Last week has been so busy and there is still more to do...

The pool is down and the backyard is getting cleaned bit by bit, we dug up all the potaotes, we got alot more after I had to move them to make room for the pool, so now I have alot more for growing and enough maybe for couple of meals..the dehydrator has been going, working on zuccini and some tomatoes...(bunnyloves pumpkin is growing really big)

The yard sale was so so in sales, but weather was lousy....going to try again next weekend they are calling for better weather...( I have everything pulled out,so might as well stack and set up next weekend)

bunnylove has moved her bedroom to the basement were I had the indoor growing section set up, so that took us a few days to get switched around(had ro remove all the canned food hidden in that dresser before we coud take it downstairs(yup lots and lots of cans), In the master bedroom that I have I will have to re-hang the ballists and get the green houses re-set up, bring in the empty potting soil bags(these are used to grow the potatoes in a bag,if you need more info pm me on this), and start collecting more soil for indoor growing..

I still need to mow the lawns and finish raking up a few thousand crab apples lll( I did get a few dehydarted and thats about all its been to busy here)( and kids don,t seem to mind the job)

Sorry I have been awol for the last little bit but I am sure everyone is going through the same thing...I have not brought alot in prep wise, until I can get a bit more organized with what I have already...

Fall and Winter projects will include building more shelves and stocking those...note to self get new blade for saw..lol...

I don’t think it’s a matter of “is it coming.” I think that it’s already here, it’s just a matter of perspective. From one perspective, our frog friends are telling us that we should be grateful that the “spa” is hot and luxurious. From the cook’s perspective… another 10 minutes and we’ll be dinner.

Got a 25# bag of rice at Sam's Club for $7.84 . This is a dollar cheaper than the regular price. The 50# bag is only $14.84 . That is about $2 less than the regular price. Yay !

Rice and wheat at w/m. Picked up a few more arrows, and some broad heads. Graf and son was having an unadvertized sale on Tula "Russian" ammo, so picked up a few more boxes. Now we are trying to find the floor in the living room.
